God’s mercy hovers over my children. The covenant I have with God in the blood of Jesus extends to my children (and grandchildren) – covering them completely. Everything God gives me, He gives my children. I call them disciples, taught of the Lord. Great is their peace and undisturbed composure.
I speak the protection of the Lord over my children according to Psalm 91 and declare that no evil befalls them, neither does any plague or calamity come near them. I lay hold of God’s plans and purposes for my children by faith, and I call those things to come to pass in their lives. Because their steps are ordered by the Lord, I say by faith they are always in the right place, at the right time, doing the right things, with the right people. God’s perfect will is being done in their lives.
I believe and trust in God for my children’s (and grandchildren’s) guidance and salvation. The Lord strengthens and completes them, making them what they ought to be and equips them with everything good so that they may carry out His will.
I roll the care over on the Lord and put all my trust in Him concerning them. I am filled with joy because I know they are turning to the Lord, and I am sure that He who began a good work in them will continue it until the day of Jesus Christ, perfecting and bringing that good work to full completion in them. I’m not moved by what I see or hear, but only by what the Word says.
My children follow after Him and press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Jesus. I believe that He captures their hearts, and they love and serve Him all the days of their lives.
