We are on week 3 of our series called “Kingdom Inheritance”.
Let’s review what we’ve already discovered.
The Purpose of This Series
- To renew our minds and see ourselves as heirs of God. (How many of you are starting to see yourself as an heir of God?)
- To discover what is included in our inheritance.
- To learn how to take our inheritance.
“You and I became heirs to a fortune when we gave our lives to Jesus. We were born again into the richest family ever known. We were born into the royal family that owns and operates the universe. We received an inheritance so vast it will take us all of eternity to fully comprehend it.”
- We are heirs of God.
- We are heirs of God by birth.
- Joint heirs with Jesus.
- We are heirs of everything.
We Are Heirs of Everything Now and We Are Heirs According to the promise
We Are Heirs of Everything Now
We don’t have to wait for heaven to claim our full inheritance. Our full inheritance belongs to us NOW.
You receive your inheritance that they left for you in their will when they die not when you die.
We are qualified and able to receive and access our full inheritance now.
Colossians 1:12-13 AMPC
Giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified and made us fit to share the portion which is the inheritance of the saints (God’s holy people) in the Light.
13 [The Father] has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
You are qualified to take your share and partake of your inheritance now.
Acts 20:32 NKJV
So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
The Word of God is able to build you up and give you you’re inheritance.

If you are a child, you’re also an heir, with complete access to the inheritance.

Paul prayed this prayer for the believers in Ephesus and we need to do the same.

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation,
4 and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.
We have a priceless inheritance kept in heaven for you, not from you.
Everything Jesus paid for as a result of His death, burial and resurrection is available to us NOW.
It’s up to us now to access it, take it and make it our own.

We are qualified and able to receive and access our full inheritance now.
- We Are Heirs According to the Promise
What promise? The promise that God made to Abraham.
So, before we go into what God promised him, let me show you that you also qualify to partake of that same promise.
Galatians 3:29 NKJV
And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Also, since you are Christ’s family, then you are Abraham’s famous ‘descendant,’ heirs according to the covenant promises.

And if you belong to Christ [are in Him Who is Abraham’s Seed], then you are Abraham’s offspring and [spiritual] heirs according to promise.

And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.
As a Christian, you are the seed of Abraham! What does that mean?
It means everything God promised him belongs to you. It has been passed down to you through Jesus.
Abraham’s blessing is your inheritance!
That is what belongs to you. It has been willed to you by the Word of God.
So let’s read the will today. Let’s look in the Bible and find out how God treated Abraham, because that’s how God has promised to treat us.
Every Sunday when we come to church, we are coming together for the reading of God’s will.
Every time you open your bible and read the Word; you are reading God’s will.
What Did God Promise Abraham?
Genesis 12:2-3 AMPC
And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others].
And I will bless those who bless you [who confer prosperity or happiness upon you] and curse him who curses or uses insolent language toward you; in you will all the families and kindred of the earth be blessed [and by you they will bless themselves].
To fully grasp what God was saying here, you must realize when He blesses someone, He is not just telling them to have a good day.
He is conferring upon them the power to increase and prosper in every area of life.
God conferred upon Abraham the power to increase and prosper in every area of life. And God has done the same for you because you are the seed of Abraham.
You and I inherited the Blessing of Abraham. We inherited the power that causes us to increase and prosper in every area of life.
According to W.E. Vine and Webster’s dictionary, the true definition of bless is ‘to cause to prosper, to make happy, to bestow favor upon, to consecrate to holy purposes, to make successful, to make prosperous in temporal concerns pertaining to this life, to guard and preserve.
It was actually the blessing of God that made Abraham rich! It caused him to prosper wherever he went.
Look at how God blessed Adam and Eve, God’s original plan for us before sin entered the picture.
Genesis 1:28 NKJV
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
God gave us dominion over the works of His hands not dominion over people.
But God blessed them. We are blessed. We have the Blessing of Abraham.
Proverbs 10:22 KJV
The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
The Blessing makes you rich. The blessing makes it happen.
The Babylonian system is man trying to meet his own needs without God.
It’s the blessing of the Lord, it’s the blessing of Abraham that’s with us, in us, that makes us rich.
Genesis 13:2 AMPC
Now Abram was extremely rich in livestock and in silver and in gold.
He was extremely rich. It’s not a coincidence that we are in Scene Extreme Cinema venue for our church every Sunday.
We are extremely blessed. We are extremely healed. We are extremely well. We are extremely rich.
Can you see how God treated Abraham. He will do the same for you.
Abraham was also a very obedient man. He obeyed God quickly.
When God called him, he would say quickly, “Here I am”.
He wasn’t perfect because he lied twice and said that his wife was his sister and God still blessed him after that.
Why? Because the blessing wasn’t based on his performance but on the covenant promise that God made with him.

Now the land was not able to nourish and support them so they could dwell together, for their possessions were too great for them to live together.
The Blessing did that.
Genesis 15:1 AMPC
After these things, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram, I am your Shield, your abundant compensation, and your reward shall be exceedingly great.
Fear Not Abram, I am Your Source. I am Your Protector.
Gloria Copeland – Receive Your Inheritance!
“Years ago, when Ken and I first started to walk with the Lord, we were facing debts and problems that seemed overwhelming. So, I took that promise from God to Abraham and put my name in it. I read it like this: “Fear not, Gloria. God is your shield, your abundant compensation, and your reward shall be exceedingly great!” I decided that since I was an heir of Abraham, those words were just as true for me as they were for him. And sure enough, they have been. In the years since, God has protected me and rewarded me beyond anything I could ask or think. He has been as faithful to me as He was to Abraham!”
And I can say the same for me and Ps. Lorna and my family. God has protected us and He has rewarded us.
The blessing of Abraham will enable you to prosper no matter what’s happening around you. It will cause you to increase in the midst of recessions, depressions and every other kind of economic calamity the devil can dream up.
If you are the seed of Abraham, you shouldn’t even worry about such things. They don’t have to affect you. You are not dependent on the economic cycles of this natural realm.
You are dependent on your covenant with Almighty God—and that never changes! He never alters the Word that comes out of His mouth and He has said you are blessed!
Deuteronomy 28:1-14 NKJV
Blessings on Obedience
Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.
2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:
3 Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.
4 Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.
5 Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.
6 Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.
7 The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.
8 The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
9 The Lord will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways.
10 Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you.
11 And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lordswore to your fathers to give you.
12 The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.
13 And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.
14 So you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right or the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
Deuteronomy 28:1-14 MSG
If you listen obediently to the Voice of God, your God, and heartily obey all his commandments that I command you today, God, your God, will place you on high, high above all the nations of the world.
All these blessings will come down on you and spread out beyond you because you have responded to the Voice of God, your God:
God’s blessing inside the city,
God’s blessing in the country;
God’s blessing on your children,
the crops of your land,
the young of your livestock,
the calves of your herds,
the lambs of your flocks.
God’s blessing on your basket and bread bowl;
God’s blessing in your coming in,
God’s blessing in your going out.
7 God will defeat your enemies who attack you. They’ll come at you on one road and run away on seven roads.
8 God will order a blessing on your barns and workplaces; he’ll bless you in the land that God, your God, is giving you.
9 God will form you as a people holy to him, just as he promised you, if you keep the commandments of God, your God, and live the way he has shown you.
10 All the peoples on Earth will see you living under the Name of God and hold you in respectful awe.
11-14 God will lavish you with good things: children from your womb, offspring from your animals, and crops from your land, the land that God promised your ancestors that he would give you.
God will throw open the doors of his sky vaults and pour rain on your land on schedule and bless the work you take in hand.
You will lend to many nations but you yourself won’t have to take out a loan.
God will make you the head, not the tail; you’ll always be the top dog, never the underdog, as you obediently listen to and diligently keep the commands of God, your God, that I am commanding you today. Don’t swerve an inch to the right or left from the words that I command you today by going off following and worshiping other gods.
